SMS / Text Messaging Terms
JTE Home Agency LLC d/b/a Mission Home Help
Effective Date: May 25, 2026 · Last Updated: May 25, 2026
These SMS Terms (“SMS Terms”) govern your receipt of SMS messages from JTE Home Agency LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, doing business as Mission Home Help(“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.
1. Program Description
When you opt in to receive SMS messages from Mission Home Help, you may receive messages related to:
- Your eligibility for the Michigan Medicaid Home Help Program
- Application status and required documentation
- Appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders
- CHAMPS Provider Enrollment progress and case updates
- Background-check status and onboarding for caregivers we employ
- Payroll, timesheet, and employment notifications for caregivers we employ
- Program updates, service-related information, and customer support
- Marketing and promotional communications about our Services (only where you have provided express consent for marketing messages)
We use Grasshopper, a third-party communication platform, to send and receive text messages. Use of Grasshopper does not change your rights or our obligations under these SMS Terms.
2. How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Mission Home Help by:
- Checking the SMS consent box and providing your phone number on any form on our website
- Texting us directly at our published phone number with a request for information
- Providing verbal or written consent during a phone call or in-person meeting with our staff
- Signing a written authorization during the enrollment or employment onboarding process
By opting in, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are the subscriber to the mobile phone number you provided, or are authorized to consent on behalf of the subscriber
- The phone number you provided is accurate and you will notify us if it changes
- You agree to receive SMS messages at the phone number you provided
Consent is not a condition of service. You may receive our Services even if you do not opt in to SMS messages. You can communicate with us by phone or email instead.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your stage in the eligibility, enrollment, and employment processes, and on the nature of your relationship with us. Typical frequency is 2 to 15 messages per month, though you may receive more during active enrollment periods or during your first 30 days as a caregiver we employ.
4. Cost
5. How to Opt Out (STOP / CANCEL)
You can opt out of receiving SMS messages from us at any time by:
- Replying STOP or CANCEL to any SMS message you receive from us
- Calling us at our published phone number and asking to be removed from text-message communications
- Emailing us at info@missionhomehelp.com and asking to be removed
After you reply STOP or CANCEL, you will receive one final confirmation message confirming you have been opted out. After that confirmation, you will not receive further SMS messages from the program from which you opted out, unless you opt in again.
Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of other communications from us, such as phone calls, email, or postal mail, where those communications are necessary to provide our Services or to fulfill our legal or contractual obligations.
If you opt out, we may still send you transactional or service-related messages that are necessary for us to provide Services to you or to comply with our legal obligations (for example, payroll notifications for caregivers we employ that are required by employment law).
